The Synergy inventory data system
Item Numbers – Synergy has created its own unique item numbers based on a structured inventory manual. Generic item numbers provide access to multiple supplier alternatives and specific item numbers are unique to individual suppliers.
Item Descriptions –Item descriptions contain key information identifying the product in a clear and consistent manner.
Product Categories - Item numbers are grouped by the product type and assigned a category to enable the use of discounts and customer contracts.
Sales & Purchase Units - *Sales and purchase units of measure are set to the industry standard and are consistent across each product group.
List Pricing - List prices are created by Synergy which are based on the industry standard. Members can discount off the list as desired.
Nett Pricing – Nett pricing is attached to the item number and is procured from suppliers and regularly updated by our data team.
Part Numbers - All item numbers have the supplier and the supplier part number. Generic item numbers provide multiple supplier alternatives.
Barcodes - Supplier barcodes are attached to the item numbers to assist in the scanning of items when selling or receipting goods.
Pack & Re-order Quantities - Supplier pack and re-order quantities are attached to the item numbers to assist in setting sell prices and re-order quantities.
Best Buys - Best buy reports are generated using our generic item numbers to compare alternate suppliers to maximise profitability.
Minimum and Maximum Stock Levels - Reports generate by Synergy’s inventory data system create suggested minimum and maximum stock levels to ensure optimum stock holdings.
Stock Grading - Stock grading reports are based on the usage and dollar value of items and are used to assist in the implementation of stock levels.
Customised reporting - Whether you need a new invoice layout or perhaps a customised Excel spread sheet we can create a report based on your needs.
Combined Usage - Combined usage reports are produced to track your supplier purchases on dollar value.
